Size: approx 7cm length
Holding still on underside of cucumber plant leaf. Not concerned with proximity of camera or tape measure. No apparent activity. Couldn't spot anything similar in the moth id help.

Might it be Manduca rustica?
...or M. sexta?

 
M. rustica would be a bit out
M. rustica would be a bit out of range (though not unthinkable, in a large, long-lived species with strong flight capabilities). Maybe, though, more likely sexta? Not an ID, just a hunch based on very little review.
