Skipper larvae? -
Atomacera decepta
Kingwood, Texas USA, harris County, Texas, USA
May 22, 2008
Size: .75 inches
I found a few of these small larva feeding on our Rock Mallow, Pavonia lasiopetala, and was wondering if this is a skipper larvae and what species it may be.

Not thinking it's a Sawfly
Thanks for the help. The info I found indicates it to be a Mallow, or Hibiscus, Sawfly, Atomacera decepta. I appreciate the help.
