Acmaeodera species - Acmaeodera knowltoni
Lehman Creek Trail, Great Basin National Park, west of Baker, White Pine County, Nevada, USA

I found what I assume to be this insect on three species of flowers: Lathyrus sp. (as seen here), Achillea millefolium, and most commonly on Potentilla sp.
Thank you for assistance with a species name.
