Dogwood Jewel Beetles. - Agrilus cephalicus

Size: 2-3 mm
Little jewel beetles feeding on dogwood. Some where purple with a bronze thorax and head, and others where all bronze .

If it's feeding on dogwood a good candidate would be Agrilus cephalicus.

Genus Agrilus
Not sure if it can get IDed to species though. It's a very diverse genus with lots of similar looking species.
