Ant - Camponotus

Size: 6mm (1/4")
I believe this to be Camponotus. But what are those white spots all over it ? Something off the seed ?
Please help with ID.

Insect fragment?
With some imagination, the ant's load could be a chunk out of some 'furry' insect, like a headless, legless thorax. Perhaps the ant's body was coated with the 'scales' while it was attempting to cut the victim up.
