Anthidium utahense - Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, Irwindale, Los Angeles County, California, USA May 8, 2008 Size: ~ 7 mm
One of several instances where I observed females pick up small pebbles (seen in this photo, holding pebble between mandibles). They appear to be using older bee burrows at the edge of a large set of Diadasia burrows.
