Prionus laticollis, female
This big beast is a gravid female, her burden of eggs causing the bloated abdomen. This species is the largest cerambycid in the NE U.S. and can be readily distinguished from the other species of Prionus in the U.S. by the rugose elytral surface, and black coloration. The short, filiform antennae help distinguish females from males.

Thanks
I knew this was a female, because it was mating when I first saw it. I got too close, spooking the male, which flew away before I could take a photo.
