Raining Caterpillars in Florida - Datana integerrima
EAST PALATKA, Putnam County, Florida, USA
June 23, 2020

Literally raining from mature Hickory trees in the 100s, and a type of thread waisted wasps (second image) were having a field day for about a week as they fell; result denuded hickory trees as well!
