Hi there, could I ask how you came to your species determination here? This bee does not appear to have the characteristic reddish T1 of H. nelumbonis, and from what is visible the pit size and depth on the mesepisternum and scutum does not seem large or deep enough. This species is also a wetland specialist, so if it was nectaring at a woodland edge, there would need to be a wetland nearby (perhaps the user can let us know).
