you can click on tag and move image directly to species guide page

I was informed of the species ID through butterfly experts on Only Butterflies! in Facebook so I accept their call as to the species, Cliff.

The call was made by Brian Orion of California and Norbert Kundla of Canada, butterfly experts on the west coast.

So, click on "tag" or "tag all" on the page your image is on. Go to the taxonomic location in the site where you wish to place it. Easiest way in this case: put Coronis Fritillary in the search box. Click "search". Then scroll below the images and click on the correct species. Then click on the "images" section for that species, and then click on "move tagged images".

Kevin, I got to the images after putting Coronis Fritillary in the search box as you suggested. I did not see my image in the images that were shown. I scrolled down below and clicked on all those that I felt applied to my image and a couple that I clicked on brought me right back to my image.

Read my previous instructions really carefully. Gotta click on "tag" image first. "Tag" will be under your image. After you tag it, you should see your image with "Tagged images" over it in the left margin. THEN go ahead and search for "Coronis Fritillary". Do not click on any of the images. Scroll below the images (see my previous instructions). After you click on the correct species, click on the "Images" tag across the top. Then finish with my previous instructions. :)

Cliff's spot on: you're welcome to go ahead and move your image into the species spot now. I'm always a little trepidatious when I do that myself (I'm still very much an amateur), but it's common to do so especially if you have verification. Lot's of times people will move it, and throw in a comment like "ID per Dr. Hamilton" or something similar.

And if it turns out to be something else and a butterfly "expert" here disagrees, they'll probably pipe up, and then you'll hear a really cool argument between taxonomic mages as to whether 2 tibial spurs or the amount of white bordering the pronotum, etc. determines which box your beautiful creature belongs in.
