The picture is poor quality as the dragonfly was on the fly when I snapped it but I'm hoping somebody can identify it. I think it was laying eggs and I also think it is an Emerald but I don't see one in my book that looks right. Just my guesses. Thanks.

A female Somatochlora sp. ovipositing. It looks like the ovipositor is perpindicular to abdomen. That might make it S. williamsoni. Tough with that angle and clarity.
