This species is extremely similar to C. hasbroucki and probably can't be reliably distinguished from pics alone, but the fact that it was on sagebrush points towards gladiola. The pattern on the face also seems slightly better for gladiola based on pics of specimens, but there is variation in these two species and that's not listed as a distinguishing factor. C. gladiola is found throughout the Sierras, whereas Hasbroucki is more in Oregon and the California border area.
