Genus Oberea
Lots of similar looking species. Any idea what plant it was on? (or do you have an image from farther away where someone might recognize the plant?) With that black necklace, we're thinking O. perspicillata, the Raspberry Cane Borer, Yanega fig 251. Nice shot!

The beetle almost filled the frame using my MP-E65 macro at 1:1. The plant it was on looked like a young goldenrod. I think it had just landed there though.
