Moved from Iridopsis sancta. I agree with Jason on obliquaria and this appears to be the original ID suggested by Rob Curtis.

What makes this sancta?
I'm wondering why this specimen is called sancta. It doesn't really look like the photograph of the type in Rindge. I think this is just another example of the highly variable Anavitrinella pampinaria.

 
Not sure
I don't even remember moving it there ... of course I'd be impressed with myself if I did remember doing it nearly a decade ago, haha. Someone probably ID'd it outside of BG though. I don't really do a lot with southwestern moth IDs much beyond genus.

But I agree, it doesn't appear to be sancta. I don't think it's A. pampinaria either though. While variable, pampinaria still has a pretty consistent FW PM line track, particularly as it approaches the costa, and the lines of the HW don't quite look right for pampinaria either - much straighter lines than the range of variation usually seen.

To me it looks like it's most likely Iridopsis obliquaria.
