Size: Forewing ≈21mm
Closing the cycle: the moth emerged overnight, 2 weeks after pupation (the spot at the end of the abdomen is some of the meconium fluid that the moth excreted until afternoon)

Newly emerged moths excreting meconium fluid
Came across your excellent life cycle documentation and your mentioning of the meconium fluid explained our puzzle seeing red liquid spots in area from a newly emerged Giant Leopard moth here in AL.
Had not heard of this before since most moth sightings and photos are of the adult or larva. The life cycles with observations noted is great addition to moth knowledge.
