Eurythmia - Caudellia nigrella

Eurythmia - Caudellia nigrella
Schulenburg, Fayette County, Texas, USA
April 11, 2019

Moved
Moved from Eurythmia.

Eurythmia?
Doesn't this need to be moved back to Eurythmia per your email?

Moved
Moved from Caudellia nigrella. You had images of three different individual moths linked together.

.
This specimen is BOLD identified as TXLEP919-19 Bin BOLD:AAH4787.

If you would contact me before moving it would be helpful. Also lead photo on MPG.

These images are of three individuals
The two live images depict two different individuals, and both appear to be Eurythmia. The pinned specimen does look like Caudellia nigra, so I assume it is correctly associated with the barcoded sample.

.
I am sorry you do not like the markings in the second photograph but they ARE the same individual from a different angle and the lighting was weird. I have a number of copies of that same angle that I edited differently. I can omit it from BG but I will not delete it from BOLD.

Also, they may vary because my second BOLD Identified individual from Camp Wood photographed quite differently and has a straighter Median line. See TXLEP1054-20 in Bin BOLD:AAH4787 which also shows the dissection. I just added the dissections to BG.

I could have been wrong about the two
But this definitely isn’t the same individual as the pinned specimen. I’ll email you first next time something like this comes up.

.
thank you.
