Acanthocephala terminalis but what is that white circular thing on the thorax ? I've seen several with it on them.

Cool...
I think that is a Tachinid fly egg. Poor bug is doomed as the larva will feed on it when it hatches.

Just shot
one of these myself, Sam. With the same white spot in the same place! Shot several last year and none of them had it.
