Platypedia
The narrow, collarlike pronotum is characteristic of this genus. There are lots of species in the SW that look like this.

In The Pursuit of Accuracy
Hi Margarethe:

I wonder if this specimen was observed in Watson Woods Riparian Preserve in Prescott? If so, that's Granite Creek that flows through the Preserve.
