White-banded Fishing Spider - Dolomedes albineus

White-banded Fishing Spider - Dolomedes albineus
Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, USA
An immature White-banded Fishing Spider (Dolomedes albineus), raised in captivity since birth. This individual is most likely a female because of its incredibly slow rate of growth, as opposed to the faster growing males. This specimen also sports a yellowish color variation that seems to be uncommon among Dolomedes albineus.
