Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Pretty sure that's an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus). The yellow can be quite pale on some of them. If it were a Zebra Swallowtail the light area would be more greenish-white, and the dark stripes larger and bolder.

They do
There are dark variants of the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail that I've long confused for Spicebush Swallowtails. They vary quite a lot, these butterflies.

I have
I heard the same quite recently from a reliable source, so it sounds likely. Would explain why I have a lot of the dark ones here alongside the "classic" tiger-striped ones.
I also live near one of their partner plants, the Flame Azalea. Pretty interesting how those use the Tiger to reproduce.
