Moved
Moved from ID Request.

I believe this moth is Schizura concinna - Red-humped Caterpillar Moth - Hodges#8010. Only the caterpillars have been reported from Maine and I am not positive enough of your photo to move to species.

Thank you
I have seen this same moth over the past few days I think. I took more photos. One weird thing is it seems to "hang" by its legs, even upside down. I will post more photos. Maybe they will help.

.
A square lateral not so exposed would be helpful.

I have some in sunlight
Will post, I am not really sure they are the same moth so I am posting them seperately. This moth is always resting up pretty high so it is a reach to photograph it. I have seen it over the past three days if it the same moth.

I will delete the ones that are not helpful.

.
Deletions are not necessary. If they are taken on different days or at different times you have to assume they may not be the same specimen. Better to be safe.

Thanks
They may or may not be helpful but they're posted.
