Carabid - Bradycellus lugubris
Topsham, Orange County, Vermont, USA
May 27, 2008
Size: 6mm

Thanks Peter
Another new species for the guide, because of your microscopic examination of the specimen.

Bradycellus lugubris
based on my microscopic examination of this specimen. Image provides some clues that help distinguish it from others in genus: uniformly dark elytra except for paler interval #1 and rounded pronotal hind angles Thanks Tom.

Moved
Moved from Ground Beetles.

cf. "Bradycellus"
