Megasemum asperum
The combination of: an elongate, parallel form; a fairly broadly rounded, almost parallel-sided pronotum; a wide, shallow medial impression on the pronotum; and the short anntennae, help characterize this species.

I try to provide some details as to what to look at when identifying a specimen. Hopefully, it also allows folks to go to that 'second level' and look at specimens in a finer detail.
