Size: 1 mm
Found on log near a small patch of moss on the log. The really small beetles continue to confuse me ... don't know where this goes.

I jotted down in my field notes as "cryptophagid", but changed my mind soon after. Once again, should have followed my initial hunch :-) Next time, I'll hesitate less to put a guess on family.
