Grammia cf. celia - Apantesis margo - Female

I can't narrow this guy down any more than to the family it belongs to. Please help.

Moved from Figured Tiger Moth.

Moved from Grammia celia. Jason reports: Chris Schmidt did a revision of Grammia (published in 2009) in which celia was revised to synonymy with figurata.

there's a catch though: the species formerly called celia is actually two species(margo and franconia), neither of which is the same as figurata. This specimen is a female G. margo.

My apologies
I apologize. I decided it was better to go with Grammia cf. celia, since the thoracic scaling is so dark. I edited my comment to reflect that. There's a good chance that it's either an aberrant G. celia, or maybe a hybrid. My apologies for causing an extra move.

Aren't Grammia fun?

Grammia
This is most likely Grammia celia. However, it's difficult to rule out G. williamsii, and to complicate matters more, there is a known hybridization issue which may in the end, only be sorted out by mitochondrial DNA analysis. I'd say it would be fine to call this Grammia cf. celia, and have it on a celia species page.

Cool
I have a tiger needing an ID too:

We would guess something
in Grammia, such as

Grammia
Thanks John and Jane!
