Moved from Columbia Silkmoth.

Hyalophora columbia gloveri
This is actually a subspecies of Hyalophora columbia known as the Glover's Silkmoth- Hyalophora columbia gloveri. NOTE: on Bug Guide they treat H. c. gloveri as a full species NOT a subspecies. Either way it is gloveri.

Great to know...
How can you tell the difference? Is it just by location or are there visible differences? Thanks!

Location is the major one, but there are some physical differences, but they are pretty minute. Will this image be moved to the gloveri page? Another member has made false ID's with another moth from Colorado (which is H. c. gloveri, not H. columbia) and said it could be the normal Columbia because this image was used and an identifacation. He was very right in linking them because they are the same species, but just under the wrong name.
