I hadn't looked this image over enough, it looks much more like a Promethea Moth (Callosamia promethea).

 
It's wild
My neighbor called me to let me know there was a "big moth" on the back of their house. I went over and took this picture, and a few hours later got another call to say there was another one mating with it. I couldn't get over for the second one.
