Yakuhananomia bidentata
Y. bidentata (formerly listed under Gilpa) - only thing close to this size.
This individual has much of the dorsal pubescence rubbed off. But if you look at any of the images currently in the Guide other than the thumb above, you'll notice the same red/brown ground color.

Looks
like a tumbling flower beetle(Mordellidae) to me. Maybe someone else will ID it further. Amazing photo!
