Little hugger bees?? - Melissodes bimaculatus - male

Little hugger bees?? - Melissodes bimaculatus - Male
Clawson, Oakland County, Michigan, USA
Size: Like a house fly
Find three every morning for the past week or so hugging the netting in my garden. There are three of them and they’re within a couple inches of each other hugging the netting. I have no idea what they are and my local Bee guys don’t know either. Please help ID them! Thanks!
