Pennsylvania Hexapod for ID - Aaroniella
Northkill Road north of Shartlesville, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 2, 2020
Size: 3 mm
Several of these small creatures were found crawling on bark of Eastern Hemlock (live or dead trees) at night.

It is likely ...
Aaroniella badonneli, but A. maculosa is a possibility. Both occur in Pennsylvania. If you have the specimen a measurement of the forewing length might help. A. badonneli: 2.45 mm, A. maculosa: 2.7 mm.
