unidentified moth - Ixala proutearia - Female
Crows Nest Campground, Jeff Davis County, Texas, USA
July 30, 2020

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

This species and desperaria are nearly identical and slightly variable. We might need to place some of these into a species complex, eventually.
I'm not sure of the exact range, but BOLD has two examples of this species from Jeff Davis County.

Female
She looks very close to Ixala desperaria, but the median line is more prominent. This might be a new species for the guide. (the first image in the genus from Texas)
