"This is a species of Trichadenotecnum. I think it is quite likely T. majus (Kolbe), but with only the dorsal view figure, I can’t be altogether certain of it. I would certainly like to see the specimen, but I don’t suppose that is possible."

 
I did not collect the insect.
I did not collect the insect. I tried to get a lateral view but without any luck. The only species of Trichadenotecnum in the ARCTOS database for Alaska is T. majus (4 records), so you are most likely correct.

OH, what I'd give for a lateral view. I'll send this one to Dr. Mokford for his opinion.
