I suspect
this may be
Acusana
, based on the description of the genus in DeLong, 1942 (resembling
Gyponana
, but 'flattened' and lacking reticulation in the wing venation). Delong 1942 states that the vertex and crown are 'unicolorous without longitudinal stripes,' but various species in DeLong & Freytag 1966 are described as having longitudinal stripes on the pronotum and crown. I suspect this is due to fading of specimens. there are only a couple species recorded from California and, despite being widespread throughout the southwest, the genus is poorly known. I'm just leaving this note here for future reference.
