Red Pytho - Pytho americanus

Red Pytho - Pytho americanus
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
April 28, 2005
Size: 12 mm
Those white flakes you see here and on some of my other "bug studio" photo subjects is milky-translucent Insect-a-Slip, which does a good job of keping insects from climbing the walls, but also scapes off easily. I spend extra time on some of my submissions digitally removing this stuff.
