Check out 7994 – Heterocampa guttivitta and 7974 – Misogada unicolor – Drab Prominent on MPG. The best way to eliminate one is if you do not have Sycamore in your area. That is the Misogada host plant.

I usually think it is more likely to be Misogada if it has the yellow showing on the abdomen, but that is not a sure characteristic.
