Crab spider on daisy - Misumena vatia

Crab spider on daisy - Misumena vatia
Squamish, British Columbia, Canada
August 15, 2020
Size: perhaps 6 mm
I went back to my garden at dusk looking to find a greenish spider that I believed was a Goldenrod crab spider. At the same time I found 2 other crab spiders that looked very interesting. This one had striped legs which were clearly distinctive. Apologies for the poor focus: the spider was very skittish and the low light made things extra difficult. The closest id I can find is the Northern crab spider, but the guide does not have a record for BC. Thanks for your help.

Looks to be
a subadult male Misumena vatia

Thanks
Interesting thread. Thanks very much for including it. We have lots of Misumena vatia so your id makes sense.
