Moved from True Bugs.

We have some similar images
of pink bugs with white belts in Miridae {thumb:113274]. Again it would be great if someone knew how to rear these so we could see the adult! Maybe you can just collect the plant they are on and keep it in water so they can feed??

....
I'll see what I can do.

Similar Image
I have a very similar image and an older version too. They feed on milkweed.

Small Milkweed Bug
it's solved :D :D

May be a small bug on milkweed -
or even a bug on small milkweed, but definitely not Lygaeus kalmii. We're guessing not even Lygaeidae, but more likely Miridae. Not sure which one yet, but someone will follow this through at some point and figure out its adult look. Until then, we just have to wait (or get a visit from the right specialist!)
