Hexagenia
Hi Dave-

I believe this male imago to be of genus Hexagenia.

The image could be of either Hexagenia limbata or Hexagenia rigida, as both are known to reside in Virginia. However, differentiating between those two species requires microscopic examination of the penes of the male imago, so this image is being placed in the guide at genus level.

Thanks Roger!
I'll try to find a species-level key to see if I can key that out next time.
