Tiger Beetle at park - Cicindela oregona
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, USA
August 18, 2020
Size: ~13mm
Found at the park by a wet spot of the lawn. When I got close, they would fly forwards about 3 feet at low altitude and land again. Was my first time seeing something like this, but it was clearly a tiger beetle once I caught it.

Best guess is Cicindela oregona oregona.
