On cultivated Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa), late afternoon.

Common Eastern Bumble?
Could it be Bombus impatiens? It has avague dark spot on the thorax and the first abdominal has paler hairs, while the rest of the abdomen is black. Wings are smoky. Habitat seems reasonable (urban garden).
