Lycaeides species? - Plebejus anna - female

Lycaeides species? - Plebejus anna - Female
Mormon Immigrant Road, SE of Silver Fork Road , El Dorado County, California, USA
August 20, 2020
Size: 1/2 inch +/-
I observed this Lycaeides blue on the east side of Mormon Immigrant Road, south east of Silver Ford Road visiting flowers growing against the east bank of the road. Because of the color tones, I know that it is a female and according to Jeffrey Glassberg's Butterflies Through Binoculars of the West, Page 123 it is a Northern Blue but I suspect the name has changed now. I am including both a dorsal image as well as a closed-wing position.
