Antistrophus lygodesmiaepisum - Antistrophus pisum

Antistrophus lygodesmiaepisum - Antistrophus pisum
Valentine, NE, Cherry County, Nebraska, USA
July 22, 2020
Located in a three acre 'wild' field with no usage/traffic except for an annual haying. Discovered many dozens of rush skeletonplants widely scattered, all with these galls caused by a small cynipid wasp. The photo shows the larvae inside. Have never observed the flying wasp.
