Moth species - Macaria

Moth species - Macaria
Center Point, Kerr County, Texas, USA
August 25, 2020
I took this moth photo on our front yard window screen using a blacklight to draw in bugs. I've gone through the Moth photographer web site 5 times using the fast and slow views with a Texas filter set. It could be an underwing species, but the most similar was an Oche Lichen Moth which I'm sure it isn't.

Geometrid Moth
In the Texas range, we cannot tell you the species, sorry. Both species are quite variable and the ranges overlap in Texas.
See here: Macaria deceptrix or Macaria graphidaria
