Large wasp stuck in Algae - Tachytes - female

Large wasp stuck in Algae - Tachytes - Female
Hole in the Wall Area Beach, Echo Valley Provincial Park, Saskatchewan, Canada
August 26, 2020
Found this wasp struggling in shallow water covered in green algae in Pasqua Lake just off of the Hole in the Wall beach area. I lifted it out of the water with my hand and put it on the dry sticks a few meters from the water. It let me take several pictures and I left it there to dry and continue to groom itself. Not sure how it got stuck in the water or the thick algae.

Posted it initially on iNaturalist and suggestion there is that it is Subtribe Gastrosericina.
