Asian Longhorn Beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Anoplophora glabripennis)

Even though no one has posted a photo of this species - it is a serious threat - so I've added a guide page for it. If seen, this should be COLLECTED and the USDA or applicable state agency should be contacted immediately.

for the info.

that, plus EAB
So far in Canada, the ALHB is only in the Toronto area, but the Emerald Ash Borer (Agrilus planipennis) is established over a larger area in extreme southern Ontario (Windsor to Chatham). The USDA says EAB is present in Michigan, Ohio, and Maryland, so I suppose a photo will eventually be posted to BugGuide.

EAB pics
I'm in the Detroit area, and in the thick of the EAB infestation. I also worked on the MDA's response project for about 6 months. I will work on getting some original pics of all the life stages, though I anticipate the adult will be the hardest to snag. I have yet to find a live adult. I may have some time this weekend to do a little destructive sampling and get some larval shots.

It may be desireable to have some way of highlighting these and other 'pest' species on a separate page?
