Biological control agent for Cirsium arvense (Canada thistle)but not authorised for release in BC because of concerns for native thistles. First recorded in Kamloops area 2009. Found in Columbia Valley by submitter in 2014

so this adult was reared from the larva shown on the next pic?

negative - images are of separate individuals. Some Canada thistles have an abundance of both larval and adult stages. Bryan
