Brightly colored leafhopper from New Mexico - Cuerna obesa
Ruidoso, Lincoln County, New Mexico, USA

Size: 6.3 mm
Wings - mostly opaque and red, translucent toward the posterior tip
Body - black and white striped
Eyes - black
Face - black with many horizontal yellow stripes
Thyridia - large, black, far back on head toward pronotum
Scutellum - 4 black stripes and 3 yellow stripes, heading anterior to posterior
