Thanks much! I thought it might be a peppered jumper. I've been looking for these the last few weeks, and today (September 6, 2020) I spotted four of them. One on a black walnut rachis, one on an aster leaf, one on goldenrod (S. nemoralis) and one on a Monarda fistulosa stem. Only one of the pictures I took today that was semi good was on the black walnut leaf rachis.
