Micro Moth -
Cameraria hamadryadella
Point Pelee National Park, Ontario, Canada
May 28, 2005
Size: 5 mm
I found a couple of these tiny moths resting on a tree trunk along a woodland trail. They didn't look like much from a distance, but they're actually quite attractive!

We are reminded of Argyresthia
But don't know what North American species would be related to them. Some sample images:
bonnetella
,
spinosella
. We're eager to see what Bob discovers from his search.

Fantastik Foto, Jay!
I'll send this to a couple of people who might at least identify the family, if not the species.
