What Longhorn? - Analeptura lineola

What Longhorn? - Analeptura lineola
Montgomery, Orange County, New York, USA
May 30, 2008
Size: 12 mm
Cerambycidae - What species?

I believe...
...Analeptura lineola is correct. 12mm is at the upper end of the size range recorded for this species. I did take a look through the other pics placed under that species and found one that I think is something else.

We have some similar images in the guide
under Analeptura lineola, see , for example, but 12mm is on the large side for this species, and we have always wondered if there are more than one species posted to that guide page?? Maybe one of the Cerambycid experts will take on that page sometime and sort out all the images. Then we'll all have a better understanding.

ID
It's in the Lepturinae, at least.
